In an era of rapid scrolling and fleeting glances, how do we truly engage with a photograph? Night at the Rodeo challenges this passive consumption by presenting a single image in multiple sizes, materials and qualities, encouraging viewers to slow down and explore its details with intention. As the scale shifts, so does perception – small prints may invite intimacy, while larger formats evoke a more visceral response. This installation asks: How does size influence emotion? How does it feel to hold a photograph versus view it on a screen? What nuances emerge when we take the time to look deeper?

Through this work, I invite viewers to reconsider their relationship with photography and the act of seeing itself.
